I've considered myself pretty organized for a few years. In high school and in college no one would have called me organized, but that changed when I got married and especially when I had kids. I found a blog that gives such great organization tips! I've mentioned her blog before but you should really check it out at Sunny Side Up. It made me realize there were still several areas in my house that could be more organized. She has inspired me clean up several of my "clutter areas". It takes some time to get organized, but once you are I think it saves you so much time! You're not constantly searching for things when you need them because things have a specific place. Ah, what a great feeling!
Our house has been on the market forever for over two years, so we decided to do a couple of open houses. Before we did, my husband and I gave our pantry a makeover. It looked great, but I decided it could be even more organized with a few fun items from The Container Store. I've seen these baskets on blogs and read literally hundreds of reviews raving about them online. I'm disappointed that I only bought four! This is the left side of the pantry.

I love this idea! It makes it so much easier to see what canned goods you have in the pantry, not to mention the space you save. This is the Large Expand A Shelf, also from The Container Store.
Another project I did pre open house a few months ago was this drawer in our kitchen. I found these drawer organizers at Bed, Bath and Beyond. This is our "junk" drawer no longer! Before pictures are here.
More organizers from Bed, Bath and Beyond. This is our bathroom drawer that obviously holds toothpaste, floss, picks, combs, etc.
Laundry Room decor
For as long as we have lived in this house, I have kept my cleaning supplies in a huge, ugly grey tote under this shelf in the laundry room. I found these containers at The Container Store and they are a much cuter solution! They are so easily accessible to me, but not to the three sets of little hands in the house!
My very crafty sister in law made these adorable tags for the containers, matching the rest of the laundry room decor of course. :)
An organized house makes this girl happy! Happy organizing friends!!

How cute I was planning on buying some bins now for sure I will! I was going to focus on my fridge but I think I will focus on my pantry too. So cool. Maybe I will take some pictures before I come but it is a mess!
