Three Years

Our sweet girl turned 3 years old!! 

You are just SO amazing! I look at you every day and just can't believe you are MINE!

You are total sugar and spice! Some days it seems all you want to do is argue with me and be naughty and other days you are just so sweet. You have the SWEETEST heart. You can be so kind to others and you care so much about people when they cry or are hurt. You will always ask why other kids are crying if someone is upset at the grocery store or the park. You are SO loving and you love to hug and kiss and cuddle. But you also have a very spunky personality that personally I love, despite how frustrating it can be at times! You are just a character. I think you are one of the funniest people I've ever known.

You wear a 3T and a size 7 shoe. You weigh () pounds and are () inches tall. Your hair is getting so long and still has the prettiest curls!  You sleep great at night and you still take naps most days! You become a little bit of a terror if you don't get your nap. You are such a smart girl.  You know your colors, about 17 of your letters and your numbers. You can spell your name and your brother's name, although half of the time when someone asks you your name you say it is "sissy".  You love Veggie Tales, Minnie Mouse and are starting to get in to princesses. You love to play pretend kitchen and to "help make" when I am cooking.  You and your older brother are always getting a pretend party ready for someone's birthday, usually mine or Daddy's. You will also play Thomas and Friends and Cars 2 cars with (or to spite) your brother, depending on how you are getting along that day. ;)

You LOVE to dance. When your favorite songs come on - you always jump up to dance. You love for your daddy and I to dance with you. You are so girly and fun! You also LOVE music. You love to sing and it always amazes me how quickly you learn the words to songs. You can sing your big brother's songs from pre-school with him. We sing a duet to the song, "Crazy Girl" by the Eli Young Band and laugh and laugh. Some funny things you say right now that I don't want to forget are you will ask me if you can take a bathtub instead of a bath. You will ask me if your sister is done taking her bathtub. :) You call your Daddy Da-Da. It's hard to write it out how you say it but it is so cute. You also love when I tell you "good morning sunshine". You say, "I am your sunshine". Yes you are my sweet girl.

You are very social and very much a "people person". You love the time we spend with extended family and friends. You always ask about your friends and get SO excited for our play dates. You remind me so much of me! You can ride your princess scooter so well and are learning how to ride your brother's old tricyle pretty well. You have been fully potty trained since you were about two and a half with very few accidents during potty training. We were very thankful for that!

You also just adore your grandparents. You LOVE to be around them and they are nuts about you!

You are a very loved little girl.

Your life changed this year when you got a little sister. You are SO sweet with her. You talk to her and you love to make her laugh. Once you hear her wake up from her nap you will sneak up to her room and I will hear you two just cracking up at each other. It melts my heart. You are starting to play together more and more every day. I'm always reminding you to be nice to your sister. I pray you will be best friends.

I am amazed by you daily. Sometimes I just sit back and smile at you because I'm so proud of you and I never dreamed I could love anything so much. I can't kiss you and love you enough. When you were born - I couldn't imagine what you would be like at 3. And now I wonder what 6 and 10 and 16 will be like. 

I have a feeling you will continue to blow me away. 

I love you so much. I hope you will always know that your mother is your biggest fan.
