We took our second trip to the zoo over the weekend with my friend Emily and her family. They made the two (2 1/2?) hour drive just to go to the zoo with us! (Thanks guys!) It's always great to see them and I'm so thankful we find time to get together two or three times a year. It seems fitting that we spent part of the day on September 10th with them. Emily and I were roommates in college on September 11, 2001. It's hard to believe it has been ten years! We will never forget!!

It was a fun visit to the zoo! We are definitely getting season passes for next summer since our baby girl will be old enough to really start to enjoy it.
