3 1/3

I realize a "what are you up to" post on our little man is way overdue so here it is!

  • You are 3 years and 4 months old!
  • You look like this when you go two and a half months without a hair cut! You are still not a huge fan of hair cuts so I don't like to take you to anyone but Lindsey.

  • You are such a sweet boy. Lately you tell me that Mommy and Daddy and "your big girl" are your best friends.
  • You are a huge Thomas and Friends fan. You have started collecting wooden railway trains and freight cars since your 3rd birthday and have quite a collection! You will play with your trains for hours and it's so much fun to listen to the conversations you make them have. We love your imagination!
  • You love the Toy Story movies; especially Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
  • You love to take your vitamin and will always ask for a bowl with a package of fruit snacks with Cheerios in the morning while I get ready for work.
  • You are still an extremely picky eater. You love cheeseburgers and french fries from "Donalds". Bad, I know! You will usually eat pasta and love most fruit but refuse to eat vegetables. You love strawberry milk and drink a lot of water. You usually eat a really good breakfast but it goes downhill from there.
  • You love your grandparents; you refer to them as "Ma" and "Pa" (Mommy's mom and step-dad) and Ma Gogs and Pa Gogs (Daddy's Mom and Dad). You call Mommy's dad "Pa" too but don't see him as often.
  • You adore your baby sister but have not learned to share your toys with her yet. We are working on that one!
  • You will finally fall asleep in your own bed and sleep there for naps but still sleep most of the night in our bed.
  • You have recently started "reading" some of your bedtime stories to me. You can pretty much recite, "Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother Too?", "Thomas's ABC book", and "Llama Llama Red Pajama".
  • You sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "You Are My Sunshine" with me before bed.
  • You say cute and funny things like "How was your day at work?"
  • You can dress and undress yourself easily and like to pick out your own pajamas at night.
  • 9 times out of 10 you will pick footie pajamas.
  • You have been completely potty trained for six months and have only had 2 or 3 accidents since then.
  • You love to play basketball and tee ball and are actually pretty good at hitting the ball when Daddy pitches it to you.
  • You love going to "farm" with "Pa" every chance you get.
  • You have known your colors for quite a while but lately when you talk about colors you will say red "like James", green "like Percy" and blue "like Thomas".
  • We love you so much little man!
