Sweet girl it is hard to believe you are NINE months old! You are such a happy girl. What are you up to at 9 months?

- You are in size 3 Pampers Cruisers.
- When you were most recently at the doctor on February 5th you weighed right around 18 pounds.
- You have completely outgrown 6 months clothes now and are wearing all 9 months clothes.
- You are eating five times a day. During the week your schedule is nurse at 5:30; bottle of pumped milk at 9:30 or 10:00; bottle of formula at 1:30; nurse at 5:00 and again at 8:00.
- You really want to eat what we eat. You will eat most baby foods with the exception of peaches and mixed vegetables and love the Gerber puffs and Yogurt Melts but would prefer to eat table food. You've had a few things but without any teeth we are careful what we give you.
- We love your still toothless gummy smile. I checked your big brother's baby book and he got his first tooth around 10 months.
- Loves: baths, big brother, jumperoo, walker, any of her brother's toys, being held, being rocked to sleep.
- In the last month you had your first real injury and you are currently wearing a splint due to a "buckle" fracture on your left radius. You were practicing standing along the couch and let go then started to fall. Mommy tried to catch you but you fell and landed in just a way that it fractured your little arm. It didn't swell or bruise but you would not crawl on it that night or the next day so we thought we should take you to the doctor. They did x-rays and found a very slight fracture. You have to wear a splint for two weeks and you really want to crawl now but we are trying to limit how much crawling you do so it will be sure to heal correctly.
- You have started banging your head in to ours when we hold you. We aren't sure why that is but we think it might be your way of showing love because we get close to you and give you kisses and are sometimes forehead to forehead so maybe you are copying that?
- You have started pulling yourself up on things and are pretty proud of yourself when you accomplish your goal. You will put your butt up in the air sometimes like you are trying to stand and it's so cute. I need to try to capture that on camera.
- It's hard to describe your personality. You are such a happy girl. You still kick your legs and squeal with excitement when we pick you up. I've never seen a baby who kicks their legs quite like you do. You get the biggest smile on your face when we smile at you. You adore your brother and are always laughing at him. You are such a babbler. We love listening to you and your big brother will ask you, "what'd you say big girl?"
- We love you so much precious girl!
