Easter Mini Session!

My high school friend Sara recently starting using one of her friends to take their family pictures. She is just starting out in her photography business but she is young, super sweet and great with kids! She was offering an Easter mini session with live baby chicks for a very reasonable price; and Sara convinced me to make an appointment for our almost 2 year old daughter and 4 1/2 year old son.

We've had family pictures done at Sears and JCPenney and they turn out okay; but I hate how they are almost always behind schedule and when you do get in, you feel like they are rushing you. It just is not ideal especially with small children! Chelsea scheduled us for a 30 minute time slot and was so patient with the kids. I love how these pictures turned out. We will definitely be using her for our next family pictures!!

Chelsea had a break in her sessions a little later in the day, so we met her again at a park and she snapped a few more. I wanted to get one or two of the kids and I. Hard to believe that in a few short weeks we will have baby #3!
