Happy Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day this year. It is so much fun to see what the kids create in school. We bought our son's teacher a small gift and made valentine pretzel hugs as a sweet little treat for the kids in his class along with Phineas and Ferb Valentine's. Our daughter chose Veggie Tales Valentines for her class and we had enough treat cups with pretzel hugs for her teacher and aide also.

Even though the treats weren't for her class, my sweet girl was happy to help make them. She really can make them herself now except of course for putting them in the oven to melt the hugs and putting the m&m's on.

Put them in the oven on 200 degrees for about 6 minutes and they are ready for m&m's!

I found these treat cups 6 for $1 and thought it would be cute to fill them with Valentine's pretzel hugs. I hope the kids in his class like m&m's more than our silly boy who won't eat them!

  I tied them with Valentine ribbon and labeled them with a simple heart and they were ready to go! 

 

I was happy to be able to go to our son's kindergarten class party. I had to take miss baby cakes with me and I was a little nervous about how that would go because she is so busy right now and so strong-willed. Other than not keeping her shoes on it went fine. They have a couple very life like baby dolls in the classroom and they kept her occupied most of the time.

And finally my sweet and unexpected gift from my husband! Hard to believe this is our 10th Valentine's day together!
