We had family pictures taken on the 10th with our favorite photographer. She is great with the kids and so sweet. Unfortunately our kids were having a really off day. All three of them! The pictures were scheduled at 4:30 which is after nap time and before dinner so it should have gone so well. But with a 6, 3, and 1 year old you never know what you're going to get. I think the older two were really, for the most part, trying to do well. They just have these awful fake smiles right now when you tell them to smile so we got a lot of not so cute faces. And our normally super sweet, easy going baby was cranky and crying through most of the session! One of these days it will be easy to take family pictures, right? :) Even with all the quirks, we still ended up with some decent pictures. We really had perfect weather for a fall day besides some wind at the beginning of the session.

As disappointing as it can be when things don't go as planned, I have to remind myself this is a season. We love these 3 more than anything no matter how silly they may smile!
