It's hard to believe how quickly our little man is growing up! We signed him up to play tee ball this year knowing that his season would probably start right around the time we welcomed our 3rd child. We really wanted him to have the experience of playing though and he was so excited! We knew it wouldn't be easy with a newborn but that we could work it out. His first game was when our baby was 4 days old! I was hoping I could see the game from our vehicle but it didn't work out that way. I am typically very much a "rule follower" when it comes to doctors suggestions for a newborn so I was hesitant to take her out at only four days old but I guess things change when it's your third baby and I couldn't miss his first game! I took her out to the game, making sure she had her JJ Cole sun/germ shade on her car seat and was also covered by a blanket. I was thankful no one tried to peek in at her and she was calm almost the whole game.

It was so much fun this season watching our little man play! The first practice was nothing short of awful. He has always been pretty reserved and very much wants to be at his Momma's side. Daddy took him to practice and he did not want to do any of the warm-ups and had a meltdown towards the end. Needless to say it was slightly embarrassing and we were worried about how the season would go. It ended up going so well! With each practice he got more comfortable and Daddy bought a tee and bat to practice with at home as well. We also found out that most of the kids on his team were already 5 and some had played last year. By mid-way through the season he was running bases and chasing balls with the best of them. Daddy was still on the field and helped out but he was so much more comfortable and outgoing than at the beginning of the season. We are so happy he played and so proud of how far he came. We love our little man!

Grandma from Wisconsin was able to come to two games because she was here to help us get adjusted to having a newborn again and Grandpa was able to come to one game when he came to pick up Grandma and as always he got some great pictures! We were so happy to have my Mom and step-dad and brother Travis come to several games and my sister and nephew and niece come to one and other friends and family attend as well. You made us so proud little man! We can't wait until next year!
