I thought I would write a quick post about the big move. We are officially homeowners again! We are staying at our new house, but still have some things at the rental. Hubby is off Wed-Fri so he's planning to finish moving the stuff from the rental this week. Saturday or Sunday we'll go do the final cleaning and then start organizing the new house. I've realized through all of this that I really want things done now. It's very hard for me to not have everything in it's place. Hubby has reminded me that we are in the process of moving and things don't all have to be put away right away. Maybe it's me already nesting but it really bothers me to not know where everything is. I am going to try my hardest to just relax and finish getting moved, and then I will start getting everything put away. Our little guy is pretty confused about where "home" is. Although he calls the new house, "cool house." I'm sure once we're completely moved out of the rental and have stayed at the new house a week or two he'll understand a little more. He does already love having a playroom just for all his toys. Wait until we start adding girl toys! My father-in-law was here Friday night to Monday morning, and I know hubby was very thankful for all his help. It was great to see him and he got to have some bonding time with our little guy too. At this point I plan to stay in this house forever. Moving is not something I enjoy, even when I can't do a whole lot of anything to help in the move. I'll be much happier in a couple of weeks when we're completely moved and things are organized and put away. Until then, I'm just trying to be patient. :)
