At our Thanksgiving meal with my Mom's side of the family on Thanksgiving Day we again ate too much good food. I'm not the world's greatest cook, so they just asked me to bring scalloped corn (or corn casserole), and that I can handle. :) We played "white elephant" which I've also heard people call "dirty Santa". I personally think we should start calling it dirty Santa. Everyone brings a gift and they are all counted, then each person draws a number. #1 chooses a gift first so you want to get the highest number. Each gift can then be stolen or you can pick an unwrapped one. We limit the stealing to 3 steals so the game doesn't last all day. My Mom's family actually puts fairly nice gifts in, even some new things, so we played pretty nice this year too but were still able to get rid of things that we didn't want or need. :)
