We decided since we're in the rental this year that we would just put up the little 4 ft tree that Husband had before we met instead of our bigger tree. We got the tree out the weekend after Thanksgiving, finally got the lights on it the following Wednesday, and decorated it on Thursday. I'm not sure what took so long, but it's decorated. We let our little man help decorate the tree (it was his first time helping) and he loved it! The little tree is just his size. He needed help getting some of the ornaments to stay on, but that didn't stop him. We're definitely in the holiday spirit! And happy to say that our Christmas shopping is almost done! This has to be a record. :) There have been many Christmas Eve's that I have been finishing my shopping. Not this year. I'm even well on my way to being finished wrapping!
