Weekend Wrap Up

Happy Monday friends! We had a fun but still fairly productive weekend.

Friday morning as we were getting ready for school the kids all yelled excitedly that they saw deer in the back yard!

I wasn't able to get great pictures but if you look closely you can see the deer. I think there were about 8 of them.

I know, I know; we might not be happy to have deer tracking across the back yard once we have a lawn but we think it is neat right now. ;)

It was sport's day at their school and we let little sister in on the fun. I didn't realize until I was editing the photos that our 3 year old was wearing her favorite Miller Lite wrist band. ;) #momoftheyear

I just want one nice picture and it usually takes at least 5 tries, maybe 10!

Crazy kids!

Our 3 year old and I ran a few errands on Friday afternoon and picked up these Melissa and Doug sticker books for an upcoming road trip.

The errands must have worn her out because she fell asleep in the car and napped for at least 3 hours!! I didn't even get her coat all the way off. ;)

The kindergarten classes put on a fun event called March Dadness on Friday afternoon. Our sweet girl had been counting down the days for weeks! As part of March Dadness, they sang a few songs for the Dads.

They made a few adorable things for their Dads. I love the "world's greatest Dad" trophy. (I tried to get a picture of her with her Dad but he hates to have his picture taken). :/

Our little artist.

We spent Friday night hanging out at home and the girls were telling stories with their dolls and stuffed animals as usual. ;) #bestsisters

Our kindergartner wanted to look at my laptop on Saturday morning and what is she reading? My blog. :)

I needed to make an early morning Walmart run and our kindergartner and I picked up these delicious sprinkled donuts for breakfast!

We dropped our son off at a birthday party for my friend Sarah's oldest son on Saturday afternoon. The girls and I had a little extra time before our Saturday afternoon princess party started so we had lunch at Fazoli's. :)

Sarah sent me this picture of the boys getting ready to eat pizza. It was fun for our son to see Sarah's boys and a few other friends from his kindergarten class.

My sister had invited the girls and I to a princess party at their local library on Saturday afternoon. These sweet cousins were so excited! Thanks for inviting us Stace.

Lots of little princesses at the party.

They brought the princesses out on stage and then read a Frozen book.

I'm not sure the girls were listening to the book with so much going on around them.

After the story they were able to chose from a few different crafts. Our girls wanted to make a princess scepter (wand?) first.

They made "Olaf" donuts with the white powdered donuts, mini chocolate chips and an orange candy for the nose.

They had Glacier Juice and mini cupcakes for the little princesses.

Our three little princesses with the big princesses. Jasmine didn't seem that happy to be there. ;)

Helping my princesses with their crown craft.

The girls really seemed to like each station!

My sweet niece

Love these ladies!

This girl was happy about her finished crown.

She wanted her picture with Anna and Elsa by herself. :)

Anna and Elsa and our princesses

She's one fancy princess. ;)

Our kindergartner threatened not to go to the princess party because I wouldn't let her wear her Ariel earrings. She finally agreed to go without them but had to make sure she put them on when we got home. #girldrama

She's been asking to get her ears pierced this summer. We will see!

The kids and I walked around our outdoor mall for a little while on Saturday night. It was chilly but they humored me with a picture. Apparently, this weather has us confused. One girl is wearing snow boots and one is wearing flip flops. Ha ha!

For some reason she decided to put the stickers she got at the princess party all over her dress. ;)

Sunday morning the girls watched Spy Kids while Christopher and I did some cleaning and organizing around the house.

Then big brother decided he wanted to watch too. :)

We apparently only make crazy faces when we are at dinner.

Exhibit B

All this kid wants to do lately is play games on the Iphone. We have to work on reducing his screen time!!

This girl does play games on the devices at times, but she also spends lots of time practicing her selfie skills. :)

 Have a great Monday!

Looks like a great weekend!
