The placemat for each of the preschool kids was a turkey handprint placemat that they made in school. The poem in the center says, "This isn't just a turkey, as anyone can see. I made it with my hands, which are a part of me. It comes with lots of love especially to say, I hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving Day!" Love it!
The kids take the stage. All the kids in our daughter's class were pilgrims. She was standing close to her friend (Sarah's son or as our daughter says, her future husband) on stage. :)
It was so much fun watching our little performer. She was doing all the hand motions and just having a great time. Her little sister's reaction to seeing her when she came on the stage was so cute too. She was very excited to see her "E"! As she says in her cute 2 year old voice, "my love 'E' (so) much".
Another of her singing :)
Our pretty little pilgrim girl
Love these little friends :)
Our daughter has become fast friends with this sweet girl in her class. They draw or color pictures for each other each week and her Mom and I set up a lunch play date last week. They seem like such a nice family and the kids all had fun playing together. She calls our daughter her best friend. :) Too cute! (And I loved her turkey outfit!)
This sweet but wild girl was really good at the feast. I think she loved watching all the kids sing and being at school with her sister. Every time she sees this picture she says, "hold my kitty wa wa". ;)
They have made several Thanksgiving related crafts in the past couple weeks and this is her thankful tree.
This one gave me a good laugh. I think the picture that is supposed to be me is the most accurate. She said she picked that picture for her brother because the shirt was like the ones Uncle Robert likes. ;) I'm not sure what made her decide on the two she picked for herself and her sister. Ha ha! I love that girl!
This Thanksgiving season and always I am so very thankful for my three blessings!!
