Adrienne ordered some of these completely adorable and delicious Minnie Mouse cake pops from my favorite "cake lady". She is a friend from high school that has made all the birthday cakes for our kids birthdays. She is so talented and the cake pops did not disappoint!
The kids thought it was great to be getting presents when it wasn't even Christmas or their birthdays! Maybe we should make this a yearly tradition. It did give us more time to shop. The funny thing is that Adrienne and I both ordered each other something that wasn't in yet! It will give us a good excuse to get together again.
She was happy before she even opened her gift because one of her favorite princesses was on the bag.
She was too busy going up and down the stairs to open presents.
He was happy to get Despicable Me as part of his present. Such a cute movie!
I didn't get a picture of Adrienne opening this part of her gift, but I made this for her. I am not trying to pat myself on the back; but I am proud of myself because I am really not very crafty! I ordered the vinyls on etsy and bought the canvas at Michael's. With a lot of encouragement and advice through texts from my very crafty sister-in-law Anne, I am happy with how it turned out. (Thanks Anne!) Hope you like it Ade!
This cake pop is delicious!
His sister agrees.
I think the look on her face says, "You better give me that cake pop lady!" :)
Adrienne is acting like she is helping the boys put together Lego's. Ha ha!
You can't see it that well in the picture but when he put his arm around her, she put her little arm around his neck. So sweet!
It seems crazy to me sometimes that Adrienne has a 15 year old! I told him I was sorry if all the noise at our house gave him a headache. ;) He was really sweet to help put the Lego's together and play soccer with the younger boys.
Adrienne's boys both love Lego's so they always help our son put together the sets they get him for gifts.
Her son slid as he sat down to play trains and Adrienne asked if he was okay. He said yes, he meant to do it; that "it's called being awesome!" It still makes me laugh that he said that. I love the things kids say!
Squishy hug!
Love this lady! Thanks so much for coming over Ade and boys. We were happy to see you all and we love you guys and all our gifts! I hope it's not another two or three months before we get together again! :)
