10 Months!!

Sweet baby you are 10 months old!!!

You weigh just under 16 pounds (when we tried weighing you).

You wear a size 3 diaper.

You wear some 6-9 still but mostly 9 months clothes.

I think you are a size 2 shoe. I can't get you to wear shoes much yet.

You are becoming a good eater and you have liked all the baby food you have tried except the cereals. We haven't started you on table food yet. You still haven't popped any teeth through. I know we could still try softer foods but we just haven't.

You are sleeping pretty well most nights. You normally only get up at 630 to nurse and if we let you, you will sleep past 10!! I think you have the schedule of a teenager on summer vacation. You like to stay up late and sleep late!! You usually take at least one good nap (2-3 hours) and on good days I can get you to take two naps. You take a pacifier for naps and at bedtime and you love it but if you are fighting sleep you will throw it across the room. You get some pretty good distance. ;) Or you also try to give it to Daddy or I or your brother and sister.


You are so sweet and good natured! You are just a little joy! BUT you do have a temper that's starting to show up. You have thrown some tantrums when you don't get your way. It's almost funny because as sweet as you are, you do have a lot of attitude for such a little girl!


You still have an adorable gummy grin. Both your brother and sister had I think just one tooth at this age but I don't see any signs of yours yet. I'm sure your teeth will all come in at once.

You are still so easy to take places. You really have a pretty easy personality. I just am so crazy about you!


You love your brother and sister. You think anything they do is hilarious. And they love you! You think it is so funny when either one of your siblings is throwing a fit. When they are upset and screaming or crying, you are laughing! I think it is because you think they are laughing too.

You are BUSY BUSY. You are army crawling everywhere and of course your favorite things are things you shouldn't have. Your brother and sister call you "monster baby" because it is your mission now to get their toys and you can tear up your brother's track in record time. They are always saying, "Mom get monster baby!" You are finally starting to crawl a little bit and I think within a week or two you will be crawling full time. (Note: By the first week in March you are crawling full time and we are so proud of you! These pictures were actually taken March 15- just a little late- so you are crawling well and we are dealing with some conjuctivitis in your eyes.)


You like to play with toys and you will play a lot with things especially if your siblings play with you. I'm thankful for this. Momma can load the dishwasher every once in a while. :-)


You still get SO excited every time you see me. Daddy teases that you think I am a rock star. You squeal when you are excited and it is just the cutest thing. You will still hold your legs straight out if we hold you in the air and you kick and squeal when you see Daddy or I. We just love you!

You are starting to slowly get better about letting other people hold you besides Daddy and Mommy. Lots of relatives have commented how well you are doing now.


Here you are at one month, five months and ten months! I can't believe how quickly this year has gone. Your hair is getting so long and it is still dark brown. You have blue eyes and the sweetest smile.
