Four Months!!

Our sweet baby girl is FOUR months old!!!

You weigh 11 lbs, 9 oz (10th%) and are 24 1/4 inches tall (50th%).

You are wearing 3 month clothes and some 3-6 month.

You wear a size 1 diaper.

You are a great sleeper. You sleep from about 9 p.m. until 9 a.m. and usually get up once between 5:30-6:30 a.m. I am SO happy and thankful for that! You are starting to sleep a little less during the day but still take I'd say 3 long naps a day. I'm working hard on matching up a long nap with your big sister's but other than that - you kind of put yourself on a schedule. You still love to be swaddled and are just the best sleeper!

You are the sweetest, happiest baby. You love to be talked to. It melts my heart the way you smile with your gummy grin and coo and "talk" to us. Lots of times when you are fussy all we have to do is talk to you and you're happy again.

I am a little worried that you don't have the neck strength and control you should have. I admit you rarely have tummy time because 1) it makes you spit up even more than you already normally do and 2) you pretty much hate it.

You have started grabbing at things. You will sometimes grab your pacifier and pull it out. You are always trying to put your fingers and often your entire fist in your mouth. I am still trying to get you to prefer the pacifier but we'll see how that one turns out. You are loving laying in your floor activity gym grabbing the animals and smiling at your cute self in the mirror.

You are eating every 3-4 hours. I have no idea how much you eat because you rarely have a bottle but you seem very content so you must be getting enough!

You have started to try to talk and laugh. You love to watch everything your brother and sister are doing. You think they are pretty great, especially your big brother right now. Your big sister is loud and I don't think you know what to think of her sometimes but they both love you so very much!

You have rolled both from back to front and front to back. I was actually a little surprised because of your lack of tummy time but you are a roller! You first rolled back to front about a week ago. You currently will roll back to front and get mad because you don't like being on your tummy.

I love you more every day! You are a ray of sunshine in my life! I praise God every day for blessing me with you!

Growing, growing, growing! Your hair is something else! It's pretty dark and you have a lot of it. It sticks straight up in the back. I think it's kind of cute and it just gives you even more character. I'm not sure what to do with it right now so it just sticks up. You are still beautiful as ever! Your eyes are a pretty blue.
