Surprise!

I ended up celebrating my birthday two weekends in a row this year because I planned the outing the Saturday before my birthday not knowing that my mom and sister (and I think some family and friends helped too) planned a surprise 30th party for me the weekend after my birthday. Thanks so much to my sweet friends who celebrated with me two weeks in a row!

We had hot dogs over the fire, chatted and caught up while the kids played and we played a lot of cornhole, volleyball and softball! I was thankful to have so many relatives who were able to come and friends from near and far; some that I do not see nearly enough! We missed a few family and friends who weren't able to make it. My 30th birthday is one I will not forget!!
