Out with the Old

I like change... when it comes to material things. At times it is hard for me to keep the same posession for a long period of time. My husband is helping me to be better about this. In fact, I made a purchase October 15, 2002 and kept it until March 17, 2009. Not necessarily because I wanted to, but I did. Anyone have a guess what this might be? More to come.....

192,000+ miles when we traded it in. No one could believe we had a Dodge that long with no major mechanical problems. It really was a good car, but after 6 1/2 years I'm moving on! A little bit of fun with memories, my first car was a brown Buick Century that I think I paid maybe $1,000 for. Next I had a light blue Chevy Celebrity. I totaled that when I hit an electrical pole. Third I had a white Chevy Cavalier that I slid in to a tree on icy roads with but drove it dented for a long time until I got the rear bumper replaced. I obviously was not a great driver when I first got my license, but I have improved over the years! I had a blue Grand Prix after that, and I traded that in in 02 when I got the Intrepid. Five cars in the first six years of driving, and the fifth one I kept for over six years until a couple of days ago.
