Moving!!!

We got an offer on our house the day after I got back from DC, which is wonderful and stressful all at the same time. Only 2 months and 17 showings after putting it on the market, we got an offer... and a good one at that. The only downfall is we had 19 days to find a place to rent and move before closing on June 30th. We looked at a couple different places and realized there was no way we could fit all our belongings and we finally ended up finding a 4 bedroom 2 story house to rent until our new house is built. Praise the Lord!! Now the fun part is packing and moving. I can never seem to find a good place to start, much to the annoyance of my husband. Add in a super active 20 month old and you have a recipe for disaster. We've made a couple of trips so far but it always amazes me when I move to find out how much you have that you had really forgotten about. So, keep us in your prayers over the next week that we manage to find a good rhythm with packing and moving and we can get it all done in the short amount of time we have. Not to mention, the rental is 43 miles each way from our current house so the "trips" we make with his van and my car take a while to get there and back! Thank goodness our little guy is used to car rides! Thanks for the prayers, we certainly need them!!

This is our house... I am feeling so sad to be leaving in a week. I'm not sure it has completely hit me that Saturday will probably be the last night we spend here. It's our first house, the house we've been in since before we got married, it's our little guy's first house, and I realized yesterday that it's the place I have lived for the longest amount of time (3 1/2 years) since I moved out of my Mom and Step-Dad's house when I was 17, so I am feeling a little sentimental. We will be building a beautiful new house, but I will still miss this one!
