Weekend Wrap Up

Happy Monday! The kids had another two hour delay this morning. It seems like they have as many delay or cancellation days as they do full days of school lately. Thankfully the roads were pretty clear by the time they started school though! Once again, I didn't take a lot of pictures this weekend but want to post the ones I did take.

On Friday night we had dinner at my Mom and Ken's and our kindergartner worked on her elearning a little more. They have a week to finish their elearning assignments after the cancellation day. It is fun to watch her dance to the videos. :)

I hadn't had much of an appetite all day on Friday, but I didn't really feel sick. I made myself eat dinner and shortly after I was so so sick. :( I think our 3 year old was a baby the last time I have been that sick. I had to cancel plans for Saturday with my cousin and with my friend Adrienne. All I could eat was a few Saltine crackers.

Thankfully I felt much much better by Saturday but I still took it easy all day and didn't really take any pictures. On Sunday I decided to let the kids sleep in. I texted my cousin and she was able to meet us to see Paddington after church.

I love seeing movies at a small town theater near us. Their matinee prices are only $5 and you can get a bucket of popcorn for $1 with free refills!

Sweet siblings. Our son was positive he was not going to like the movie. All three kids thought it was cute!

She kept closing her eyes because the flash was bright when I tried to take her picture in the theater so I took hers after the movie. ;)

This guy is a big fan of the Minions and was excited to see the preview for the new movie playing. Rachel thought it was so funny that he asked one of the employees when the new movie was coming out. He used to be the most shy and reserved kid. He still has plenty of shy moments but he's opening up so much more.

After the movie the kids and I went to my sister's. We see their family a lot, but don't make it to their house nearly as often as we should. My nephew and niece had fun showing the kids their rooms and toys.

Playing dress up with the baby dolls.

Love these girls!

Our son kept saying he didn't have anything to do. He said he didn't want to play the Xbox until my nephew told him that he had a Cars racing game. Then he was hooked! ;)

Racing is always fun!

I let my niece have my phone and she was having fun taking pictures. ;) I wish they weren't blurry but it's cute that she was taking pictures of her cousins.

Also blurry, but cute.

My nephew is always buying, selling or trading things. I guess the big thing to trade in 6th grade is yo yo's. Who knew? He got an Xbox 360 for Christmas, so he told our son he would sell him his Xbox so he could play the Cars game that he loved. Ha ha! We don't have any game systems except a Playstation 2 so I decided to buy it from him. He made us an offer I couldn't refuse. ;) I know it's an old game system, but our guy is super happy! The rule is he reads the same amount of time he plays video games each day. Reading first, then video games. One of the other games he got was Tetris. I haven't played Tetris in so long! Old school fun. :)

Have a great week!
