Splish splish SPLASH!

We had a play date this morning at a local splash park with a friend I met through our son's preschool and her two girls (and baby boy, but he isn't scheduled to make his appearance for at least another month). My daughter LOVES getting together with them because it seems a lot of the time when we have play dates the boys outnumber the girls. Today it was our son who was outnumbered. He didn't mind at all though. It was such a beautiful morning and the kids had a great time!

Playing with these cups is SO funny!

Oh this girl! I am loving those chubby thighs! She is back on the chart for her weight and height/length and I am so happy. Operation fatten up the baby is going well. :)

This sweet girl is just a few weeks older than our daughter. They look like they could be sisters!

All the kids thought it was fun to fill up the buckets with water and dump them over their heads.

Monkey See, Monkey Do

The four big kids

After lunch Carissa's older daughter came up with a game she called splish, splish, splash.  The kids sat in a circle and the person who was "it" filled a bucket with water.  They were supposed to say "splish", "splish" as they trickled a little bit of water and then SPLASH when they dumped their bucket on someone.  It was funny to watch them play.  I thought that was creative of her to come up with a water version of duck duck goose.  I'm not sure the 3 year olds played by the rules exactly but they were all laughing and being silly.

All she wanted to do was play with these cups Carissa brought and have Mommy help her walk through the water. She's getting so big!

The best picture I could get of these 3 crazy kids

It was Carissa's older daughter's idea for them to hold hands and put them in the air.  Kids are so funny!

We had such a good day. Splash park in the morning, baths and good naps in the afternoon and ice cream after dinner. Perfect summer day!
