A boy and his popcorn

As usual we have been busy busy around our house! Our little (not so little anymore!) man finished preschool and is playing t-ball.  He really loves the coach, his Daddy.  We've been doing a lot of spring cleaning, and we try to get together with family and have play dates with friends as often as we can. 

We decided to get a membership to our local zoo for this summer. Now that our "baby" is a year old I feel a lot more comfortable taking all 3 kids with me on outings through the week. We have already used our passes several times and I know we will use them even more throughout the summer.   We are lucky to have a great zoo so close by.

Our most recent visit was on Friday when we went with our dear friends from Tennessee. The past few years we have had an annual zoo trip with Jacinda and her daughter, but with their move to Tennessee last summer we didn't make it to the zoo together. We were so happy they came for a visit and we were able to go to the zoo with them!! It was her husband and step-son and step-daughter's first time visiting our zoo and we had such a great time. We miss them all so much and we truly are thankful for the time we do get to spend with them! 

I hope to get a lot more zoo pictures posted soon but for now I will leave you with a funny little collage of a boy and his popcorn. Getting popcorn may be his favorite part of visiting the zoo. Notice how the bag gets more empty as the pictures progress. Oh I love that boy! So blessed!!
