On Tuesday my sister and I took our five kiddos to a splash park. We've talked about going all summer and hadn't made it there yet. It's just been SO hot that I didn't want to have our baby out in the heat, even with a pavillion for shade. Thankfully it cooled down enough that we got to go before my nephew started school. I can't believe he's going to be in 3rd grade!
It's a newer park and they have a really nice playground there also. The boys loved the splash part but the girls weren't so sure what to think. They played in the water a little but definitely had more fun on the playground part.
My niece made this goofy face (above) in almost every picture I have of her from the day. I think it's her "tough guy" face. Ha ha ha. Kids are so funny!
After the splash park we took the kids to an outdoor mall for lunch and they had an indoor play area too. I think all the kids had a good time. My nephew thanked me for inviting them which I thought was so sweet. My kiddos love their cousins! My little guy says my nephew is his "best pal".
