Sweet baby you are 8 months old! Truthfully you're closer to 9 months now but I didn't do an 8 months post so here it goes....
- You celebrated your first Christmas and loved it. You are certainly a "people" person. You weren't too scared of Santa.
- You attended your first wedding reception on New Year's Eve and celebrated your first New Year in Wisconsin.
- You're wearing size 3 diapers and are a little over 16 pounds.
- You're suddenly too long for 6 months clothes so you're in some 6-9 but mostly 9 month clothes.
- Your sleeping schedule is about the same as the last few months.
- You've now had the chicken pox and your first upper respiratory infection.
- You've tried most baby food fruits and vegetables now and definitely prefer the fruits. You got to try the Gerber puffs and yogurt melts right around 8 months and really like those! You're also eating Yobaby yogurt now.
- You are still the happiest little lady.
- You are always babbling and making some sort of cute noises. You say "da da da" often and say "ma ma ma" sometimes.
- You're still nursing but Mommy's only pumping once a day now so you're having two bottles of formula a day at grandparent daycare. You don't seem to mind either way.
- Still no teeth but your gummy grin is so precious!
- You started trying to crawl before you were 8 months and mastered crawling at about 8 months and a week!
- You always try to get to the bathroom before we notice where you're going when you're crawling.
- You still love to take baths.
- You crawl so fast now to the door when Mommy comes to pick you up at the end of the workday; it melts my heart.
We love you sweet girl and Mommy promises to take pictures and update your 9 month post in about 9 days!
