Baking Cookies

My kiddos hang out with my Mom and step-dad during the day while my husband and I are at work. My Mom is a great cook and her specialty is baked goods, which my little man loves of course. Two or three days last week when we were getting packed up and ready to go home he said he wanted to bake cookies. My Mom hadn't made any but for some reason he had cookies on his mind so Friday she gave me a Betty Crocker cookie mix. I somehow missed the "good cook" gene, so yes I used a mix. But hey, we made the cookies! And they tasted pretty good even though they might have been a tad overcooked.
