Current Happenings

I am going to Washington D.C. in June with our new "executive assistant" Adrienne who starts on June 2 for National convention. It should be a good learning experience and a great way to get to know each other. ;) I heard from my boss that the rooms at our hotel are about the size of the rooms on a cruise ship so it should be an experience! It will be my first time away from our little guy overnight so I am a little anxious and sad, but I know he will be fine and so will I. His Grandpa Larry and Grandma Jane are coming to stay while I am in D.C. so he will be home with Daddy and his Grandpa and Grandma. I'm sure he will have fun. Sigh. I will definitely miss him though!

We just celebrated Mother's Day with my Mom this past Sunday on the 18th. We went to the Children's Zoo and then everyone came to our house to play pool and spend time together. Our little guy enjoys playing with my 12 year old brother and his cousins. The zoo was nice but the wind was not. We still saw most of the zoo and had a picnic lunch at the park nearby.
